Thais Glenn

I was born and raised in the Brazilian state of Sao Paulo. It's a beautiful state that has a special place in my heart. I currently live in the Boston area with my sweet and talented husband. We have three children and they're the most precious gift I could ever had asked. Especially because their favorite restaurant is CHIPOTLE, so I have such a great excuse to eat rice and beans weekly!

Since I was a little girl, without any specific reason I was obsessed with Paris and everything French. My bedroom had several pictures of France and my first key chain had a little Eiffel Tower that I found on the street. Even though I've never been to France, it's always been a dream of mine.

Most days you can find me wearing leggings, an oversized shirt with my hair up, and running around trying to keep up with my children. When my kiddos go to sleep I get watch Netflix with my hubby and indulge in  popcorn!

How do you say
"Thais"?

It's like Thai food with an S, or the plural of TIE (like a necktie)! I bet you never thought it was that easy, right!!?

What's the origin
of the name "Thais"?

My name originates from the Opera "Meditation of Thais" from the French composer Jules Massenet. Another reason to love France!

Growing up in Brazil, I did not have many photographs of my grandparents. Since I had grandparents who passed away when I was very young, all I had were faint memories that were starting to fade away. To keep their faces alive in my mind, I hold onto the few photographs that have survived through the years.

Fast forward to the digital world, we find ourselves with thousands of simple snap shots that will never get printed, or make it past a post. When my son was born 4 years ago, I decided I wanted to be present not just for my children's lives, but through our photos, be present in the lives of their children and their children's children.

I learned photography and made it my mission to give every person the opportunity to save the faces of those they love for generations to come.
